Terms of use.
These terms set out the agreement between EBAYSIC Private Limited and the retailers who use EBAYSIC to run their counters.
The agreement
By signing up for or using EBAYSIC, you agree to these terms on behalf of your business. If you are accepting them for a company, you confirm you have the authority to do so.
Your account
You are responsible for the accounts and roles you create for your staff, for keeping sign-in details secure, and for the activity that happens under your accounts. Role permissions let you control who can discount, refund, void or access reports - using them well is part of keeping your counter accountable.
Acceptable use
- Use EBAYSIC to run legitimate retail trade for the stores on your account.
- Do not attempt to breach, probe or disrupt the platform or other retailers' data.
- Do not resell or expose access to EBAYSIC to third parties outside your business without agreement.
- Keep the customer data you capture lawful and used only for your own shop.
Your data stays yours
The trading and customer data you generate in EBAYSIC belongs to your business. We process it to deliver the service, as described in the privacy notice, and you can export it. We claim no ownership over your sales, stock or customer records.
Availability and offline operation
EBAYSIC is built to keep selling even when a connection drops, with each store trading on a local copy that reconciles centrally. We work to keep the wider service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation of every online function at all times, and we may carry out maintenance.
Fees
Fees are based on the number of stores and counters you run, as agreed when you sign up. Changes to your store count may change your fees in proportion. We will make any pricing terms clear before they apply to you.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using EBAYSIC at any time. On ending, we will make your data available for export and then remove or return it in line with the privacy notice and any records we are legally required to retain. We may suspend access where these terms are seriously breached.
Liability
EBAYSIC is a tool to help you run your shop; the trading decisions remain yours. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you have paid for the service, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
