Encrypted in transit and at rest
Data moving between your counters and EBAYSIC is encrypted on the wire, and stored data is encrypted at rest. Sensitive fields are protected end to end.
Access by role
People see and change only what their role allows. Discounts, voids, refunds and reports are each gated, so access is deliberate, not default.
Resilient by design
Each store keeps its own working copy and reconciles centrally. A connection drop never loses a sale or corrupts the shared record.
Backed up and recoverable
Your trading data is backed up continuously, so a lost device at the counter never means a lost day at the books.
Traceable actions
Overrides, refunds and cash-ups leave a stamped trail, giving you a clear record of who did what and when.

Where is my data if the internet goes down?
Safe at the counter. Each store operates on a local working copy, so trading continues offline and every transaction is preserved. When the connection returns, it reconciles with the central record automatically.
Who can see my sales and customer information?
Only the people you authorise, at the level their role allows, plus the limited EBAYSIC access needed to operate and support the service. Data is never sold or shared for advertising.
How do you handle payment information?
EBAYSIC records how a bill was settled - cash, card, UPI or store credit - for your accounting, and integrates with payment providers rather than storing raw card details itself, keeping sensitive payment data out of your counter.
