Store Ops · Staff & Till

Trust at the counter, backed by a clean record.

Cash handling and counter discretion are where small leaks turn into real losses. EBAYSIC makes every shift, override and cash-up traceable - so accountability is built into the day, not chased after it.

What is inside

Every hour and every rupee, accounted for.

Roles and permissions

Decide who can discount, void, refund or open the drawer. Sensitive actions stay with the people you trust with them.

Cash-ups that add up

Open and close each till against a counted figure, with variances flagged clearly instead of buried.

Shifts and attendance

Clock-in tied to the till means the roster, the hours worked and the sales made all line up in one place.

Void and discount trail

Every override is stamped with who did it and when, so accountability is a record, not a conversation.

Staff performance

See sales, basket size and hours by person, fairly and in context, to coach rather than guess.

Secure by role

Each person signs in as themselves, so the counter knows exactly who rang up what.

Close the day with confidence

No more "the drawer is a bit short again".

When cash-ups, voids and refunds all leave a trail, the awkward guessing at closing time simply stops. The record answers for itself.

Questions

Staff and till, answered.

Can I limit who gives discounts or refunds?

Yes. Permissions are set by role, so discounts, voids, refunds and drawer access can each be restricted to the staff you choose - and every use is logged.

How does the cash-up process work?

At close, the till expects a counted cash figure. EBAYSIC compares it to what the system recorded, highlights any variance, and keeps the record so end-of-day is quick and clear.

Does this track staff unfairly?

It tracks the till, not the person. The aim is accountability and fair coaching - who rang up what, in what context - not surveillance. Performance is always shown with the trading picture around it.
